Local grad purchases The Cutting Edge

The storefront may look the same, but things are changing inside of The Cutting Edge Salon on north First Street in Montgomery.

Not only has the interior been renovated, but Kayla Trcka (TCU Class of 2014) became the salon’s new owner on July 16.

Purchasing the shop in July happened by chance. Trcka had been living and working at a salon in Florida for several months early this summer when she returned home to visit her parents, Bill and Christine Trcka, and family. 

At the same time, former Cutting Edge owner Connie Tupy was looking to sell her business at 208 First Street North.
