Lorraine E. Tikalsky, 77
Lorraine E. Tikalsky, 77, of New Prague, died on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, at Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague.
Born in New Prague on November 13, 1926, Lorraine was a daughter of Frank and Mary (Lexa) Hadac Sr. and raised in New Prague. She attended New Prague Elementary School and New Prague High School.
Lorraine married Henry Tikalsky on April 18, 1950, in New Prague. She was a homemaker and also was employed as a waitress at Clemmers Family Restaurant in New Prague. Lorraine was a person that loved life.
Lorraine is survived by seven children, Allen (Lucille) Tikalsky, New Prague, Richard (Amy) Tikalsky, Chaska, Milton (Denise) Tikalsky, New Prague, Randy (Susie Kleve) Tikalsky, Chanhassen, Wayne Tikalsky, New Prague, Becky (Jim) Kalhoefer, Kingwood, TX, and Deb (Bob) Jensen, Isle; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, George (Marion) Hadac, New Prague; two sisters, Claire Hadac, Northfield, Ludmilla (Ray) Bruzek, New Prague; three sisters-in-law, Angela Hadac, Shakopee, Marcie Hadac and Rose Tikalsky, both of New Prague.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Tikalsky, on December 10, 1990; her parents; eight brothers, John, James, Albert, Jerry, Edward, Frank, Myles and Joseph Hadac; two sisters, Mary Wagner, and Helen Shuss.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague. The Rev. George Freeman officiated.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Kelly, Kevin, Troy, Tony, Jeremy, Chrissy Tikalsky, Tawnya Langer, Brad and Beth Jensen, Jennie Knauss.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday and 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
Interment was at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in New Prague.
