Losing streak snapped by WEM hoops team

A four-game losing streak was snapped by the WEM boys basketball team Saturday, Feb. 10 when the Bucs defeated St. Peter 72-53. This game followed a 63-51 loss to Cleveland Thursday, Feb. 8. WEM is now 4-5 in the Gopher Conference and 8-13 overall after a win over Blue Earth Area Tuesday, Feb. 13. The Bucs host United South Central Thursday, Feb. 15 and Medford Friday, Feb. 16. The Bucs will travel to St. Clair Tuesday, Feb. 20 in a game between Section 2A South Sub-Section foes. St. Clair is 14-8 overall.
