Main Street rehab program draws interest
Thirty people, mostly property and business owners and renters, attend a meeting for Commercial and Rental Property Rehab at City Hall on Wednesday, July 20. The city is leading the project that would help make improvements to structures along New Prague’s Main Street. Those property owners unable to attend will be receiving packets in the mail. The city is also providing information at its website. The meeting also touched on the reconstruction of Main Street in 2020. MnDOT has been doing preliminary work for that project with an employee doing an architectural survey of buildings along Main Street.
