Marc J. Simon, 27
Marc J. Simon, 27, of Carver, died at his home on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004.
Marc was born on Feb. 17, 1977, to Gary and Shirley (Havlicek) Simon at New Prague. He was raised in New Prague, lived in Eden Prairie and recently moved to Carver. He attended St. Wenceslaus Catholic School, New Prague High School and Mankato State University.
He married Andrea N. Evenson on August 18, 2000, at Pax Christi Church in Eden Prairie. Marc was a construction project manager for Weis Builders in Richfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing softball.
Marc is survived by his wife, Andrea, Carver; his parents, Gary and Shirley Simon, New Prague; his parents-in-law, Jeff and Carol Evenson, Eden Prairie; grandparents, Ray and Julia Zweber, Lakeville, and John and Angie Havlicek, New Prague; two brothers, Chad Simon (special friend, Kris Rohloff), Josh Simon, all of New Prague; one sister, Jill (Kevin) Solheid, New Prague; brother-in-law, Chad (Amy) Evenson, Milwaukee, WI; sister-in-law, Jennifer (Jon) Berseth, Wichita, KA; five nieces and nephews, Simon and Noah Solheid, Kelsey Evenson, Jake and Jordan Berseth.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Walter Simon.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Bruzek Funeral Home in New Prague.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in New Prague. The Rev. George Freeman will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Gregg Maloney, Troy Flicek, Brian Roushar, Casey Flicek, Dave Studnicka and Chad Krenik.
Interment will be in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in New Prague.
