Marvin W. Tolzmann, 90
Marvin W. Tolzmann, age 90, of New Prague passed away peacefully on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Mala Strana Rehabilitation Center in New Prague. Born and raised in Minnesota Lake, Minnesota, Marvin was a Minnesota Lake High School graduate and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and also, later in the U.S. Air Force. He was a building maintenance worker at Winco in Le Center after working as a plumber for many years in the Cleveland area. Marvin served on the Cleveland Fire Department and was a member of the Church of Christ in Cleveland for many years.
He is survived by his six sons; William of St. Peter, Greg & Melanie of Arizona, Scott & Roxanne of Mankato, Steven of Le Center, Jeffrey & Laurie of New Prague, and Brian of Bemidji; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Faye Morrison Tolzmann .
The Memorial Funeral Service for Marvin will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday October 18 at Church of Christ in Cleveland with Pastor John Kester officiating. Visitation will take place at church one hour prior to service. Military rites will be conducted immediately following the service followed by lunch in the church fellowship hall.
Burial will occur at a later date in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Cemetery, Vivian Township, Minnesota Lake, MN.
