Mayo says don't visit if you're sick
Mayo Clinic Health System, in consultation with the Minnesota Department of Health, has recommended restrictions on patient visitors in order to protect patients, visitors and staff and limit the spread of illness.
Friends and family members who have symptoms of the stomach flu, including vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and abdominal cramps are asked to refrain from visiting patients.
Mayo Clinic Health System serves 70 communities in Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin, including a clinic and hospital in New Prague.
