Senior Citizens to meet Jan. 6 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the New Prague City Hall, second floor meeting room, 118 Central Ave. N. The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday. For reservations call 952-496-8341. All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards the first Friday of each month at 12:45 p.m.
Prairie Quilters to meet on Jan. 12 Prairie Quilters of the New Prague Area will meet from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 12, at the New Prague City Hall, 118 Central Ave. N. Rachel Perez will do a demonstration on 10-inch block. There will be a short meeting for show-and-tell. Visitors are always welcome. For more information call Reidun at 952-758- 3596. Winter Texans from area will meet Jan. 30 Winter Texans from New Prague, Jordan, Belle Plaine and surrounding areas will hold their annual luncheon at Harold's Country Kitchen, 2111 East Business 83, in Donna, TX, on Monday, January 30, at 11 a.m. Buffet dining starts at 11:30 a.m. Anyone with questions can call Dick Eischens at 952- 217-9919.
