Senior Citizens to meet Oct. 7 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 7, at the New Prague City Hall, second floor meeting room, 118 Central Ave. N. The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday, For reservations call 952-496-8341. All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards the first Friday of each month at 12:45 p.m.
‘Our Czech Heritage Club’ meets Oct. 12 Our Czech Heritage Club will be holding its October meeting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the New Prague Memorial Library, 400 Main St. E. The club is planning a Christmas trip to the Czech Republic. Anyone interested in taking this trip should come to the meeting for details.
Prairie Quilters meet October 13 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, at New Prague City Hall, 118 Central Ave. N. Lee Ann Larson will share her button collection with the group. They will also have a member moment, a short meeting and show and tell. New members are welcome.
