MS Support Group meets April 2 Multiple sclerosis not only affects the person with the disease but their loved ones as well. The MS Support Group at Mayo Clinic Health System in New Prague provides a setting for those whose lives are touched by multiple sclerosis to connect with others while engaging in lively discussion and gaining valuable information.
The next meeting of the MS Support Group will be held from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Solarium at Mayo Clinic Health System hospital in New Prague. Pre-registration is appreciated. For more information or to register, call 952-688-8068.
Separated/Divorced Support Group meeting is April 2 The area Separated and Divorce Support Group meets 7-8:30 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at St. Wenceslaus Church, lower level, 215 E. Main St., New Prague. The next session is April 2. Come and experience good support as you move through this time in your life. People of all faiths are welcome. Golden Agers meet April 2 in Lonsdale Lonsdale seniors age 55 nd older are welcome to attend the Golden Agers meeting at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, in the Lonsdale Civic Center. Cards will be played and sandwiches will be served. Lunch committee is Darlene Rezac and Marion Sirek. For more information call Mary at 507-744-2608.
New Prague Senior Citizens meeting is April 5 The New Prague Senior Citizens will meet at 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 5, at the New Prague City Hall second floor club room. Mayor Chuck Nickolay will be speaking to the group. Dorothy Jirik-Moore will be in charge of the lunch. The bus picks up senior citizens for local shopping every Wednesday. The bus goes to Burnsville the third Thursday of each month. For reservations call 952-496- 8341. All seniors are welcome to join the club for meetings and cards on the first Friday of each month.
Pioneer Power meeting cancelled Due to Holy Thursday, there will be no Le Sueur County Pioneer Power Member meeting on Thursday, March 28. The next regular meeting will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, in the Le- Center American Legion
DART Stepping Stone project on April 8 Students are welcome to join the DART garden stepping stone project from 2:20 to 2:50 p.m. Monday, April 8, at Falcon Ridge Art Room #140.
Each student in the DART program will be creating their very own garden stepping stone that will be installed into Falcon Ridge’s court yard garden. The stepping stones will be installed during the following class on Monday, April 15 (providing the weather cooperates). Students are welcome to join both days.
