Library Spring Book Sale on April 9 The New Prague Friends of the Library will hold its Spring Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 9, at the New Prague Public Library, 400 Main St. E. Donations are welcome and may be dropped off at the library during regular hours.

Prairie Quilters to meet April 14 The Prairie Quilters of the New Prague area will meet from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, at the second floor meeting room of City Hall, 118 Central Ave. N. Koleesa Dirksen will present the program on Pattern Designs – How to do it. The group will also discuss the recent quilt show, have show and tell and present the drawing quilt to the winner – Darlene Witt. Any questions? Call Reidun at 952-758-3596. Master Gardeners to hold April 20 class The Carver-Scott Master Gardeners are presenting the class, Vegetable Gardening: Old Favorites and New Ideas 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at the New Prague Library, 400 Main Street E. This class will be informative for new and current gardeners. It will discuss some old favorites that most people grow, some new ideas people can try in their next vegetable garden and fresh ways to use favorite vegetables and herbs.
