Lonsdale Golden Agers meet Sept. 20 The Lonsdale area wide Seniors Club (Golden Agers) will meet at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the I.C. Civic Center for euchre and bingo. A tater tot hot dish will be served from Fred’s Market Place at supper time. All seniors are welcome to attend for an after noon of fun and friendship. Call Don for more information 507-744-2408.

American Legion meeting Sept. 20 New Prague American Legion Post 45 will hold its monthly meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. with a lunch at 6:30 p.m. at the Park Ballroom Clubroom, 300 Lexington Ave. S.

Legion Auxiliary to meet Sept. 20 The New Prague American Legion Auxiliary welcomes people to their first meeting of the year at the Park Ballroom, 300 Lexington Ave. S., on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 7 p.m. with a meal served prior to the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Come share input as the Auxiliary makes plans for the upcoming months’ events. Hands of Friendship plans Christmas Sale Hands of Friendship, 656 W 280th St., east of New Prague, will be holding a Christmas Sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning Wednesday, Sept. 21, and ending Saturday, Oct. 1, although it is closed Sundays. The sale is located behind the thrift store and it will raise money for its orphanage in Haiti
