St. Wenceslaus School will hold its annual Marathon beginning at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, in Memorial Park, rain or shine. All families participating in the Marathon will meet at Memorial Park off of New Prague’s Main Street. Check in begins at 8:15 a.m. and will be held at tables located near the picnic shelter by the softball fields. At 8:30 a.m. there will be a welcome and a prayer before the Marathon starts. The Marathon will last for one hour and a route will be set up around Memorial Park. Families can bring strollers or wagons to hold children, but no bikes, skates, skateboards or scooters will be allowed.

Suicide Grief Support Group meeting is Sept. 27 Family, friends and anyone who has lost a loved one to suicide are welcome to attend the September meeting of the Suicide Grief Support Group. The meeting will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 27, at the Mayo Clinic Health System, 301 2nd St. NE in New Prague. Please enter through the Emergency Room doors (southwest entrance) and take the southeast elevator (#2) to the lower level and follow the signs to the Jameen Mape Conference Center. PFLAG will meet Sept. 27 PFLAG (Parents, Friends and Family of Lesbians, Gays and Transgender) support group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month 7 p.m. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1300 Main St E, in New Prague. The next meeting is September 27. For questions call 952-292-6758.

Separated & Divorce Support Group meets The Area Separated & Divorce Support Group meets the first and third Tuesday of the month from 7-8:30 p.m. at St. Wenceslaus Church, lower level, 215 Main St. E., New Prague. The next sessions are Oct 4 and 18. Come and experience good support as you move through this time in your life. People of all faiths are welcome.
