Missed by inches

New Prague Police Chief Mark Vosejpka, right, just missed getting wet on Tuesday, Aug. 14, during a party marking the end of the New Prague Library’s Summer Reading Program. Roughly 150 children attended the event, which also had snacks and an inflatable slide. Children lined up to try dunking Chief Vosejpka and other local celebrities including Mayor Chuck Nickolay, gymnastics coach Doug Amundsen and Falcon Ridge Elementary School principal Dave Giesen.
