Move-in day for teachers

Teachers at Raven Stream Elementary School were able to get into their classrooms and work for the first time on Wednesday, Aug. 23. Construction on the new elementary school on the west side of New Prague is nearly complete, with contractors going over a punch list of items to finalize the construction process. Teachers in all five buildings in the New Prague Area Schools, as well as in area parochial schools are getting ready for the school year. Teacher workshops begin next week, and the first day of classes in the public schools and St. Wenceslaus School is Monday, Sept. 11.
