New girls hockey coach eager to get going
Matt Miller is the new head girls hockey coach at New Prague High School. The squad began practice on Monday, Nov. 1, and Miller, formerly an assistant with the program for four years, is eager to get his team into action.
The squad will be led by captains Hallie Paschke and Shyler Sletta. The team took part in a scrimmage at Alexandria Saturday, Nov. 6.
The Trojans will make their on-ice debut at Orono at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16. Their first home game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, against Albert Lea.
