New Prague man injured at Cedar Lake

   A 26-year-old New Prague man injured in a boating accident at Cedar Lake in Cedar Lake Township on Friday evening was airlifted from the scene.
   Around 5:44 p.m. the Scott County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a man who was injured by the propeller of a 17-foot Larson runabout boat, which had been pulling him on an inflatable tube. North Air Ambulance Service airlifted the man to North Memorial Hospital to be treated for the leg injury.
   Alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
The New Prague Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance Service were also on the scene.
