New Prague Schools closing due to snowstorm

New Prague Area Schools are closing early today (Monday) due to a snowstorm. Snow began falling around 10 a.m. and the storm is expected to bring four to eight inches of snow.

New Prague High School, New Prague Middle School and St. Wenceslaus School are closing at noon. The district's three elementary schools (Falcon Ridge, Eagle View and Raven Stream) will have a 1:30 p.m. dismissal.

All activities and practices have been cancelled. The New Prague High School band concert scheduled for Monday evening has been postponed. No makeup date has been scheduled at this time.
