NP Council continues budget work
The New Prague City Council held a budget workshop Wednesday, Nov. 13. The workshop covered the city's planning, public works and fire departments.
Planning Director Ken Ondich noted that they have been trying to go paperless as much as possible to save money. This includes emailing items and getting code books digitally.
Fire Chief Jerry Novak said that the New Prague Fire Department's new ladder truck was nearing completion. It will have a 75-foot ladder and delivery was expected in the next month.
The New Prague Golf Club's budget will be presented at the council's Monday, Nov. 18, meeting.
