NP shooter wins top honors

The Minnesota State High School Clay Target League (MSHSCTL) state tournament was held June 11 and 12, with more than 500 athletes participating in the competition.

New Prague had 12 athletes representing New Prague High School. The team as a whole performed well, but there was one standout for New Prague. Zach Warweg, a junior, won the high gun in the male division and tied the 2010 High Overall Champion for the high overall title. They both broke 98 out of 100 targets during the normal competition. To break the tie there was a single miss elimination and Zach won after five shots.
