NPHS archers win state crown
New Prague High School is the 2016 Minnesota State National Archery in the Schools Program State Champions. The team edged out Princeton by one point to finish atop the field of 24 teams at the State Tournament in Bemidji Saturday, April 2. Ryan Wetschka placed second out of 225 high school male archers with a score of 293 out of a possible 300. New Prague’s middle school team placed fifth in the meet, with Breanna Franek placing first among middle school girls. Corey Schroeder placed first among elementary school boys.
