NPHS Holiday tournament news

The New Prague Trojan girls hockey team lost to the Minneapolis Novas 2-1 in the semifinals of the Austin Merchants Tournament. The Trojans will play Northfield for third place at 2 p.m.

The Trojan boys lost to Duluth Central 4-2 in the first round of the Minnesota Air National Guard Heritage Classic in Duluth. They play Buffalo at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the consolation semifinals. The tournament concludes Thursday.

New Prague's boys basketball team faces LaCrosse (WI) Logan at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday in the Winona State University Warrior Classic. New Prague will play Winona or White Bear Lake on Thursday.

New Prague's wrestling team is in action Wednesday and Thursday at the Rumble on the Red, a 60-team tournament at the FargoDome in Fargo, ND.
