One last time on the grass

Trojan Field was all painted and ready Friday afternoon for the New Prague Trojan football team's final regular season home game tonight (Friday) against Red Wing. After this season, the 35-year-old grass field will be torn up and a new, syntetic surface will be installed, along with new lights and a new track. A football alumni reunion will be held beginning at 5:30 p.m. west of the stadium, with food and refreshments available. Former coaches, players cheerleaders and others associated with the program over the years will be invited onto the track during halftime.
