Opening weekend a washout in DRS

Heavy rain washed out opening day in the Dakota- Rice-Scott Baseball League Sunday, April 27.

Postponed games included Lonsdale at Elko, St. Benedict at New Market, Union Hill at Webster, Shakopee at St. Patrick, Veseli at New Prague, and Prior Lake at Montgomery.

The first league game will be Friday, May 2, when Prior Lake plays at Shakopee. Two other non-league games are scheduled for Friday - St. Benedict at Belle Plaine and Le Sueur and Veseli. All three games are at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, May 3 • Union Hill at New Market. 2 p.m.

Sunday, May 4 • St. Benedict at Prior Lake, 1 p.m. • New Market at St. Patrick, 2 p.m. • Lonsdale at Webster, 2 p.m. • Elko at Veseli, 2 p.m.

Wednesday, May 7 • Union Hill at Shakopee 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, May 8 • Veseli at Elko, 7:30 p.m.
