Panthers end Titan football season

The visiting Pine Island Panthers ended the Titan football season in Montgomery on Tuesday, Oct. 25 with a 16-6 score in the Sub-Section 1AAA tournament.

The Panthers got things going on the scoreboard in the first quarter when Panther Brady Braaten broke free for a 19-yard touchdown run. The extra point put the Panthers ahead 7-0. The running back repeated it again in the second quarter with a 14-yard touchdown run and another extra point that put the visiting team ahead 14-0. 

The Titans battled but just couldn’t move the ball into the end zone and ended the half at 0-14.
