Parriott is a double champ!

Griffin Parriott of New Prague was a double-winner at the USA Wrestling Junior National Championships in Fargo, ND, last week. Parriott won the Greco-Roman division on Tuesday, July 19, and the Freestyle competition on Saturday, July 23. Competing at 152 pounds, he was just one of two double-winners in the 15 weight classes at the tournament. Parriott, a three-time Minnesota state champion at New Prague High School, will leave August 14 for his freshman year at Purdue University.
