Pavek wins State ExCEL Award

WEM junior Jarod Pavek was one of 36 Minnesota high school juniors to receive the coveted Minnesota State High School (MSHSL) League ExCEL Award. Pavek and Morgan Nusbaum won the local awards at WEM and their information was forwarded to the MSHSL. Pavek was then chosen from among 500+ students in the state as a state winner. ExCEL is a unique program which recognizes high school juniors who are active in school activities, who show leadership qualities, and who are model citizens.
