Police admin. assistant right at home in Montgomery

After working in a similar atmosphere in Scott County for the past year, Melissa Eisert, the new administrative assistant in the Montgomery Police Department office, said she feels very comfortable coming into the position.

And she is right at home‹since she lives in Montgomery with her husband, Tom, and children Braydon, 10, and Kale, 4. In addition, there is more local connection‹she is the daughter of Mike Sever of Montgomery and the late Kathy Sever.

Melissa, who goes by "Missy" is replacing Jan Ruhland, who is retiring at the end of July, after 25 years in the police office. In the interim, the new assistant will learn all she can from the veteran in the office.
