Police investigate bar break-ins

    New Prague Police are investigating two break-ins at New Prague bars early Friday morning, Dec. 21.
    At 3:36 a.m., police on patrol noticed a front door smashed in at City Club Bar, 207 Main St. W. Police entered the building and found no one inside. Investigation found a jar with a small amount of money was taken.
    At 4:30 a.m., police noticed a front window at JT’s Hideaway, 125 Main St. E, was broken and entrance had been gained to the building. Nothing was reported missing.
    The break-ins occurred one week after the Corner Bar, 100 Main St. W, was broken into in the early morning hours of Friday, Dec. 14. In that break-in, cash was stolen.
    New Prague police are investigating the three break-ins. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 952-758-4455.
