Pool closes Sunday after hot summer

After a season that has literally gone from cold to hot, the New Prague Area Pool's last day for the summer will be Sunday, Aug. 21.

June began with a mixture of cool and rainy weather, followed by an extended heat wave in July. August has seen a mixture of hot weather with more temperate temperatures.

We were closed as much as we were open due to the cold weather
