Postmaster Jacobson retires
After 30 years with the United States Postal Service, Waterville Postmaster Margaret “Margie” Jacobson has decided to retire. Her last day on the job was Friday, Dec. 30. Jacobson began her USPS career as a clerk in the Faribault Post Office at 4 a.m. on May 10, 1986. At that time, the price of a first-class postage stamp was 22 cents.
