Remembering a free spirit
Family and friends of Taylor Ann Wieland release balloons on Friday, Jan. 13, outside of New Prague High School in honor of the teen who died in a car crash in September of 2016. The daughter of Ronnie and Wendy Wieland, she had been described as a free spirit. Taylor, who was in her senior year, was working to graduate early and January 13 was the day she would have been done with school. About 50 people gathered to let loose balloons that were in purple, Taylor’s favorite color, and the high school's colors of maroon and black. For more see an upcoming issue of The New Prague Times.
