Richard F. Dick Kubes, 63
Richard F. Dick Kubes, 63, of Lonsdale, died Saturday, July 22, 2006.
Dick was born January 6, 1943, in Webster Township, a son of Frank and Marcella (Kasparek) Kubes. He attended New Prague High School and graduated in 1960. On May 15, 1965, he married Darlene Smisek in Lonsdale. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale, the Montgomery Knights of Columbus Council and the Lions Club. Dick was the owner of RK Tool & Pattern in Lonsdale. He enjoyed playing music with his band, Dick Kubes & The Entertainers.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Lori (Jim) Kubes, Lonsdale and Sue Lentz (fiancee Dave Backhaus), Waseca; grandchildren, Lindsey, James and Megan; his parents; a sister, Betty (Gary) Nytes; and by other relatives and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 26 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lonsdale. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery in Lonsdale.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at White Funeral Home in Lonsdale.
