Road updates
The opening of the last flooded segment of Highway 169 between St. Peter and LeSueur has been delayed due to flood damage in the northbound lanes, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Mn/DOT is working on an emergency contract to establish two-way traffic on the southbound lanes of Highway 169 and repair the approximate 140 feet of washed-out roadway.
The Highway 99 Bridge east of St Peter is presently undergoing inspections by bridge experts from St. Paul and will remain closed until they can determine it is safe for the motoring public.
Motorists will need to use alternative routes until further notice.
The following state highways are open
Highway 169 from Mankato to St. Peter
Highway 22 south of St. Peter
Highway 169 in St. Peter by Union Street
The following state highways remain closed

Highway 93 from Highway 169 to Henderson

Highways and bridges will be closed until the flood waters recede and Mn/DOT crews can make inspections and repairs to ensure the motoring public's safety.
Motorists should plan accordingly. When a road is closed it is illegal to travel in that area. Motorists can be fined up to $1,000 and/or 90 days in jail. In addition, if travelers need to be rescued from a closed road, other expenses and penalties will apply.
