School groundbreaking postponed in New Market

The October 6 groundbreaking ceremonies for the New Market elementary school were postponed until Tuesday, Oct. 25, the New Prague Area Schools announced Wednesday afternoon. The announcement came after the October 6 edition of The New Prague Times went to press.

The 5- to 7-inch rainfall that fell in the area Tuesday night played a big role in the reason to cancel.

The site is just a quagmire
