Several injured in Tuesday crash

A three-vehicle crash Tuesday, Nov. 7, near the intersection of Drexel Avenue and Scott County Road 2 north of New Prague sent several people to the hospital. A Ford Focus, a Ford 4x4 truck and a Pontiac Grand Am were involved in the early-evening collision. New Prague Ambulance transported five people to Queen of Peace Hospital in New Prague. One was in critical condition and transferred to a Twin Cities hospital by air ambulance. The others were treated for minor injuries, according to a source. Names of those involved and details of the crash were not available at press time. The Scott County Sheriff's Office investigated the crash, and the New Prague Fire and Police departments also responded.
