St. Benedict, Shakopee earn state berths
St. Benedict and Shakopee earned the final two berths from Regoin 3C in the State Class C baseball tournament. St. Benedict claimed a 7-5 win over Union Hill at Union Hill Friday, Aug. 5, while Shakopee defeated regular season DRS champion New Market 4-2.
The Region 3C Tournament continues Sunday, Aug. 7. St. Benedict and Shakopee will play at St. Benedict. The loser will be the No. 4 seed from the region at the state tournament.
