Susan Kay Wick, 68

Susa Kay Wick, age 68 of Waterville died on Friday, January 12, 2018 at her residence at Elm Homes in Waterville. Born on August 18, 1949 in Mankato, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Edward and Helen (Widmark) Wick.  Her father was an Air Force officer and the family lived in several states as well as overseas. Susan was a long-time resident of Elm Homes in Waseca and Waterville and was employed at Potential Unlimited in Waterville. She enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics and showed much pride in the medals she was awarded.  She also enjoyed camping and day outings with her friends. She is survived by her siblings, Scot (Fumiko) Wick of Munster, IN; Bonnie (Scott) Hrdlichka of Maple Grove, Gary (Brenda) Wick of Le Center; and Robert Wick of New Prague; brother-in-law, Tom Burke of Lemont, IL; and several nieces and nephews and their families.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Burke. A private gathering will be held at her residence in Waterville.   Burial will be at Greenwood Union Cemetery in rural Le Center.   Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services of Waterville is assisting with arrangements.  dennisfuneralhomes.com
