TCU announces Homecoming candidates

Tri-City United High School announced its Homecoming candidates on Friday, Sept. 20. The students’ names were voted on earlier in the week and only revealed during the school’s Pep Fest toward the end of the day on Friday. Emcees Samantha Hellerud and Charley Simonette introduced the captains of each sport who spoke about their season, before announcing the candidates for Homecoming King and Queen. The candidates for Homecoming Queen are (from left) Megan Traxler, daughter of Jack and Kathy Traxler; Molly Ehlers, daughter of Russ and Tracy Ehlers; Catherine Deutsch, daughter of Todd and Jean Deutsch; Alex David, daughter of  Danae David; and Kayla Trcka, daughter of Bill and Christine Trcka. The candidates for Homecoming King are Aaron Dwyer, son of Tom and Deb Dwyer; John Christian, son of Doug and Diane Christian; Kyle Ellingsworth, son of Steve Ellingsworth and Sheri Novotny; Pat Lloyd, son of Tim and Laurie Lloyd, and Mason Brownlee, son of James and Melissa Brownlee.
