TCU fights hunger with shoe drive

Students in the Tri-City United School District did their part to make the world a better place this month when they collected 619 pairs of shoes.

For every pair of gently-used footwear received, the Shoe Away Hunger program is able to feed a person in need with up to seven days of essential groceries through the Feeding The Future programs.
