TCU scores conference match over Jordan

TCU 5, Jordan 2

Despite the heat, the TCU girls’  tennis team beat Jordan 5-2 in a conference match on Tuesday.

“We played extremely well in the heat. We won four of our five matches in three sets,” said TCU coach Phil Murry. “Our doubles came through huge. The #2 and #3 both won in three after losing the first set. Courtney Hentges did the same thing at #3 singles. Kori Lowe was very strong at #2 singles, even though she was battling an illness in addition to the heat. The #3 doubles played tiebreakers in both sets one and two before dominating the third set.”
