TCU X-Country runners finish 2nd at Le Sueur Invite.
The Tri-City United boys and girls combined their efforts to finish in second place in the Le Sueur-Henderson Co-Ed Invitational on Tuesday, Oct. 1.
According to TCU Coach Brian Fogal, the Belle Plaine runners won the meet. But in the individual open race senior Mick McGuire came in 1st place.
Other TCU runners also had good finishes. Mac Malecha was came in 5th place, followed by Jeremy Walerius in 7th and Taylor Jackson in 8th. Chris Pieper finished right behind Jackson in 10.
In the girls’ individual race, Michaela Goettl finished for an impressive 5th place. In the junior high group, Abby. Schleis came in first, and Cassie Kadrlik was 2nd.
In the boys junior high race, Josh Lebrun was 2nd, and Jack Dooley was 5th. Jackson Nesmoe came in 6th place.

The Titans will run on Saturday at the Swain Meet in Duluth.
