Three teams win conference titles

Three WEM spring sports teams won conference titles this past week. The WEM baseball teamed clinched the outright title for the second straight year after defeating Faribault BA Monday. The girls track and field team won their second straight title May 17 at Wells. The softball team won their first conference title since 1992, tying for the league crown with Maple River after downing Faribault BA May 19.
