Thursday's Trojan results

The New Prague Trojan girls basketball team lost to Minnetonka 52-49 Thursday. Anna Rynda had 17 for the Trojans and Makayla Reimers added 10. The Trojans (4-2, No. 7, Class AAA) will face a stiff challenge when they host Hopkins (No. 1, Class AAAA) at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.

New Prague High School's girls hockey team lost to Chanhassen/Chaska 2-0 Thursday. The StormHawks outshot New Prague 30-20, with the Trojans' Shyler Sletta making 28 saves. New Prague (6-3-1, No. 15, Class A) host Faribault at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.

The Trojan wrestling team's meet at Olivia with BOLD and Paynesville scheduled for Thursday was postponed and will be made up Friday, Dec. 17.
