Trojan boys edged by Eagles
The New Prague Trojan boys soccer team lost a close game with New Ulm Thursday, Sept. 2, coming out on the short end of a 2-1 score.
The game was played with a strong wind coming from the west, giving the team defending that goal a big advantage. The Eagles used the wind to score twice in the first 15 minutes of the game and led 2-0 at halftime.
The Trojans controlled the ball most of the second half, with senior Nick Minar getting the Trojan's goal with about 10 minutes remaining.
The Trojans had 20 shots in the game, with 17 of those coming in the second half.
