Trojan boys hockey to host Kennedy in opener

The New Prague Trojan boys hockey team will host Bloomington Kennedy at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, to kick off the 2016-17 season.

The Trojans are coming off a 10-15-1 season. That came on the heels of the most successful three-season stretch for the program, a conference title in 2013 and two straight state tournament berths in 2014 and 15. New Prague lost a two-overtime heart-breaker to Blake in the Section 2A quarterfinals last season.
