Trojan spikers swept by Huskies

The New Prague Trojan volleyball team lost its season opener Thursday, Aug. 24, being swept by the Owatonna Huskies 25-13, 25-14 and 25-19, in Owatonna.

The game was payback for the Huskies, who were upset by the Trojans in three games on that same court last November in the section playoffs. This year's Trojan varsity has many new faces, though, and head coach Pauline Mankowski said she wasn't surprised by the slow start.
