Trojans advance to semis - UPDATED

New Prague/TCU/LSH advanced to the semifinals of the State CI Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament with a 19-9 win over Maple Grove Friday evening at Bloomington Jefferson High School. 

The game was tied at 4-4 10 minutes in, but New Prague scored four goals int eh final five minutes of the first period to take an 8-4 lead, and the Trojans kept building from there

Alex Palma scored 11 goals ad added five assists, while Matthew Schoenbauer had seven goals and seven assists fort he Trojans. Steph Hayden also scored a goal and had an assist, Cassie Malecha had two assists and Charlie Zielinger and Evy Johnson had one assist each. 

Zielinger got the win in goal. 

The Trojans will face Burnsville/Farmington/Lakeville at noon on Saturday at Jefferson. The championship game will be at 4 p.m., with the third place game at 3:30 p.m. 

North Suburban will face Dakota United in the other semifinal game.
