Trojans to compete at 1A swimming and diving meet

New Prague High School will compete in the Section 1A Swimming and Diving meet, which is scheduled for Wednesday and Friday, Nov. 10 and 12, at Ellis Middle School in Austin.

There are 10 teams in the section: Albert Lea, Austin, Mankato East, Mankato West, New Prague, Northfield, Red Wing, St. Peter, Simley and South St. Paul.

For the Trojans, senior Cassie Panka will be looking to return to the state meet. Last year she became the first Trojan swimmer to compete at state, qualifying in two events. Previous state qualifiers from New Prague had all done so in diving competition.
