Trojans gain split at Farmington Tourney

The New Prague Trojan volleyball team split four matches at the Farmington Invitational tournament Saturday, Sept. 15. The Trojans lost to Lakeville South and White Bear Lake, but defeated New Life Academy and New Ulm. Earlier in the week, the Trojans dropped a four-game Missota Conference match to Holy Angels.

The Trojans have a 3-7-1 record on the season and are off to an 0-2 start in the Missota Conference. The Trojans were scheduled to travel to Mankato East on Tuesday, then host Hutchinson on Thursday, Sept. 20. They host Farmington on Tuesday, Sept. 25, and travel to Northfield Thursday, Sept. 27.

Stars 3, Trojans 1

Coach Pauline Mankowski said coming into the match her players knew Holy Angels was a team they could beat. We are still working on meshing and finding the belief we can win
